Project Performance

Purpose of assignment: 1. Develop skills in applying knowledge obtained in the study course in the development of professional disciplines; 2. Teach students to assess the social aspects of economic development; 3. Develop skills in identifying and finding ways to better ensure that the needs, rights and freedoms of citizens; 4. Teach to prioritize the development and implementation of various sectoral programs in the further practice in the context of human development.  

Stages of work on the assignment:

 1. The choice of the project

 Choose the favorite theme of proposed in Syllabus. Consult the teacher about areas of work.

 2. Legislation Project

Objective: to develop skills, get acquainted with the legal framework and regulations.

 2 a. Study of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Objective: To familiarize with the basic law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, search and analysis of articles related to the theme of the project

 2 b. The study of international covenants, treaties, agreements on the project adopted by the Republic of Kazakhstan

Objective: To familiarize with the international legal framework, the definition of the foreign policy of Kazakhstan.

 2 c. Study of the laws and decrees of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the project.

Objective: To familiarize with the state legal framework on the project, finding out how much the legal framework of Kazakhstan meets the international legal framework and objectives of the project

 2 d. Study of decrees, orders and regulations of the local representative and executive

Objective: To familiarize with the legal basis of the local representative and executive authorities on the project, finding out how much these documents meet the challenges of the project

 2 e. Submission of proposals

Objective: to develop skills of analysis and independent decision making.

Analyze how many documents meet the challenges of solving the problem. If there is a need to provide a proposal to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laws, decrees, orders and decisions of parliament and government and the local representative and executive power. To justify the proposals.

 Consult with the teacher in performing each of the stages according to the schedule of ISWT and practical exercises.

 2 f. Protection

Objective: to develop the ability to share the information received.

The resulting material shall be in writing and in accordance with the schedule provided by the teacher for review and evaluation. Each document should have a footnote on the location. The student must be prepared to answer to the questions posed by the teacher.

 3. Public opinion on the subject project

Objective: The ability to assess the social value of work performed.

 3 a. Monitoring the media.

Objective: to develop skills with plenty of material.

Need to analyze at least one name of the media and not less than one calendar year. Expansion of the analyzed information space is welcome.

 3 b. Registration of the result.

Objective: to develop the skill to systematize the material received

The resulting analysis of the material should be formalized in a form easily perceived. The material must be present: the number of articles (by month), the focus of articles (which aspects of the project theme are highlighted), the level of articles (editorial, correspondence, interviews, letters, etc.).

 3 c. Analysis of the results.

Objective: to develop the skill of analysis of the received material.

Determine how much the project topic covered in the media, what direction is mainly affected, the frequency coverage of the topic, why it happens.

 3 d. Submission of proposals

Objective: to develop independent decision-making skills.

Submit proposals to guide public opinion on the tasks of the chosen theme of the project.

 Consult with the teacher in performing each of the stages according to the schedule of ISWT and practical exercises.

 3 e. Protection

Objective: to develop the ability to share the information received.

The resulting material shall be in writing and in accordance with the schedule provided by the teacher for review and evaluation. Each article should have a footnote on the location. The student must be prepared to answer to the questions posed by teacher

 4. Passport Project

Objective: to develop skills for researching and organizing information.

Find statistical information on the project. To develop skills of organizing the material.

 4 a. Collection of statistics on the project

Search in statistical reports and other documents information on the project.

 4 b. Registration of the results in table

Registration of the results in a form easily perceived (table). The data should have a link to the source.

 Continue to consult with the teacher according to the schedule for ISWT and practical exercises.

 4 c. Presentation of the results as an appendix to the Abstract.

 5. Summary

Purpose of assignment: to develop skills of collecting, organizing, analyzing, processing and presentation of the material obtained. Formation of the style of presentation. Skills to organize and present the results of the study. The ability to respond to questions and comments to the discussions. Teach students to assess the social aspects of economic development. Develop skills in identifying and finding ways to better ensure the needs, rights and freedoms of citizens. Teach to prioritize the development and implementation of various sectoral programs in the further practice in the context of human development. The development of the ability to share the information received.

Summary consists of:

Introduction;

1. Legislation;

2. Public opinion;

3. Problem statement

4. Proposals for solving the problem;

 Conclusions;

List of sources used;

Appendix.

When writing an essay draw your attention to the proper design of work. Work performed font is Times New Roman. Interval 1 (with font size 14) or 1.5 (with font size 12). Margins: left - 3 cm, top and bottom - 2 cm, right - 1,5 cm

List of sources used is performed in alphabetical order. It is necessary to bring all of the data (including full address of the site from which the information is taken).

 Continue to consult with the teacher according to the schedule for ISWT and practical exercises.

For the protection of the abstract bear in mind that students must be asked questions. Answers thus should be complete, detailed and targeted. Particular attention must be paid to the questions on the issues addressed.
