The teacher nominates some people who will listen and check the grammar (count verbs, nouns, adjectives etc), other would have to listen and count how many new words used his/her partner.

VII WORK IN GROUPS

  1. Groups work to write short story by using picture
  2. Groups work to read and discuss the text.

New Year’s Presents Some weeks before New Year’s shops are very busy. People buy presents for their relatives and friends. When Michael buys presents he always asks himself “Would him or her like to have this thing? Will he or she like my present?” Choosing presents is a difficult business for him. He never buys whatever comes up. He thinks twice and tries to find reasons before buying this or that. This year he has bought a saucepan for his Granny. Her old one is too small for her family. He has bought a new tie for his Granddad. His old one isn’t trendy at all. He has bought a very beautiful flower for his Mum and a nice fish for his Dad’s aquarium. His little sister Jane likes watching cartoons. So he has bought a cassette with her favorite ones. All these presents are from the heart.
