The United States of America is the greatest capitalist country in the world. The USA is the President republic. It means that the president is the head of the country. The President is elected for four years, together with the Vice-President, chosen for the same term. He cannot be younger than 35 years old and he must have lived in the USA for at least 14 years, and be a civilian. He must do his job according to the Constitution. The President cannot serve more than two terms.

Many wept as they neared the American shore, recalling all they had left behind and apprehensive about what they might find in the new land. But with their first glimpse of the statue, one Italian immigrant recalled, they were "steadied ... by the concreteness of the symbol of America's freedom, and they dried their tears".

Russians pay cash. Not by the credit card. Inside the shop or shopping centre looks similar to the one in US. The shopping area is divided into several parts-counters/ So if you are running out of milk you certainly go to the dairy counter. There you will find different kinds of butter, margarine, eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, long-life milk. At the bread and cake counter you will see a variety of bread kinds, rolls, buns, rusks, croissants, fancy cakes. At the fish counter there is a variety of canned, kipper and fresh fish and sea food, like salmon, plaice, crab, lobsters, sprats and so on.

English is an international language and now it is the most widely used language in the world. It is spoken as a first , second and official language by a majority of the inhabitants of nations, including United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, Australia, Germany, New Zealand and many other countries. And English is also popular in our country. A majority of people try to learn and try to speak in English. Some people learn through conversations and some people prefer to learn through grammar. Of course, learning any foreign language is interesting and fun but it takes a long time and patient. We should consider all their grammatical and speech rules. And my Course Paper deals with one aspect of English Grammar.

Our project is aimed to tell about different accents of English, especially about Australian and New Zeland English and to show the differences between them. We intend to explain how Australian and New Zeland sounds are produced and to show how it influences the meaning of words and expressions and cause misunderstanding. As it is generally known, adjectives form the third major class of words in the English language (after nouns and verbs). We are to study the stylistic peculiarities and use of adjectives and their degrees of comparison. The topicality of this course paper is that, if we study the English language, it goes without saying that we should have a pretty good idea of its parts of speech.
